Quail hunting at Rio Grande Rancho tests beginning hunters & experts alike.  Our quail hunting is conducted on 40,000 acres of true Mexico brush country which holds Blue Scaled and Bob White quail.  Each guide takes out private parties - ensuring you only hunt with your family and friends. Hunters ride on our custom hunting rigs in groups of up to 4 and are accompanied by a professional guide and assisted by bird boys to spot quail, flush coveys, and collect downed birds.  The hunting is fast & furious, wich few other hunts can compare.

Our Quail hunting is second to none! We have both Blue Scaled and Bobwhite Quail which we hunt from specialized "safari style" vehicles, with seats mounted on the exterior of the vehicle.

Season: Octuber thru February

Rio Grande Rancho has a unique ecology thathas the ability to produce large coveys of both Bob White and Blue Scaled Quail. Each hunter is provided with a bird boy who retrieves all birds that a hunter downs and they will provide refreshments in the field.
