TROPHY WHITETAILWhitetail Hunting
Rio Grande Rancho has an excellent reputation in producing both Typical and Non Typical B&C Record Book Trophy Deer. Rio Grande Rancho is the only lodge in Mexico to ever have produced two record book Boone & Crockett Whitetail Deer in one season. More recently, in the 2004-2005 season, the average deer taken at Rio Grande scored in the 150 B&C range with an exceptional double drop tine that measured in the 170’s. Rio Grande Rancho has exclusive rights to over 40,000 free-range acres on private hunting lands. The Whitetail Deer at Rio Grande Rancho are all harvested free range, therefore allowing all B&C deer to be entered into the record books.
All hunts are professionally overseen by some of the best local guides in the area. You will be taken to one of our 30 deer stands (less then 1 per 1,000 acres) for the morning and afternoon hunts. In returning to the lodge you can hunt from the top of our new high-top hunting rigs that can be utilized in any spot and stalk situation. Also, when conditions permit, means such as rattling or other calling methods can be utilized to bag the elusive Muy Grande. Furthermore, to ensure a top quality-hunting experience by all a maximum of six hunters per week will be booked.
We offer deer hunting on a vast expanse of rolling hills with over 40,000 acres of some of the finest deer habitat in Mexico. Located just across the U.S. - Mexico border, in front of Texas' Golden Triangle, several B&C deer have been harvested in recent seasons. Pricing
